Tokyo Skytree

De Tokyo Skytree is een televisietoren in Sumida, Tokio, Japan en tevens het hoogste bouwwerk van Japan. Hij heeft een hoogte van 634 meter. De toren zal gebruikt worden voor digitale televisie-uitzendingen.

Sensō-ji

Sensō-ji (金龍山浅草寺 Kinryū-zan Sensō-ji) is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is Tokyo's oldest temple, and one of its most significant. Formerly associated with the Tendai sect of Buddhism, it became independent after World War II. Adjacent to the temple is a five-storey pagoda, Shinto shrine, the Asakusa Shrine,[1] as well as many shops with traditional goods in the Nakamise-dōri[2]

Tokio Tower

De Tokiotoren, ook Tokyo Tower, is de op één na hoogste toren in Japan, gebouwd in het Park van Shiba, Minato, Tokio. Het doet dienst als communicatietoren voor belangrijke Japanse media zoals televisie en radio.

Arakurayama Sengen Park

Shizuoka Sengen Jinja (静岡浅間神社) is the name for a collective group of three Shinto shrines now forming a single religious corporation, located at Mount Shizuhata in Aoi-ku, Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. These shrines are the Kambe Jinja (神部神社), Sengen Jinja (浅間神社), and Ohtoshimioya Jinja (大歳御祖神社). The main festival of the shrine is held annually on April 5.

Vulkaan Fuji

De berg Fuji (富士山, ook Fuji-san, Foedji-san of Fujiyama) is met zijn 3776 meter de hoogste berg van Japan. Het is een vulkaan op de grens tussen de prefecturen Shizuoka en Yamanashi op het eiland Honshu. Hij ligt 112 kilometer ten zuidwesten van de Japanse hoofdstad Tokio en is van daaruit zichtbaar bij helder weer en geringe luchtverontreiniging.
